We offer a wide selection of Kayaks and Canoes for sale as well as a large rental fleet. Also, we provide customized Kayak fishing tours and fishing trips.

Since Kayaking should be enjoyed by everyone, we invite people of all ages and skill levels to visit our shop. To make Kayaking less intimidating we provide basic paddling instruction for anyone who visits our store.

Our Transporter System

The Transporter holds 6 people and we use RedFish 14 kayaks. Launch directly from the boat and be pulled in without getting out of your kayak. Great system, great prices. Call and reserve your space now!!

Rentals
Included in our rental fleet are kayaks by Wilderness Systems, Dagger, Perception, Ocean Kayaks, Necky and Old Town. Riversport Kayaks offers a wide variety of accessories for the kayaker in our retail shop. We rent single and tandem kayaks. We have sit-on-tops and sit-in kayaks in our rental fleet. We also rent canoes, including the Adventure 14 and 16 canoes by Mad River. These Canoes have pop-up seats and drink holders!! We rent by the hour, half day, or full day for your convenience. You may launch right outside our shop on our carpeted ramp with easy access to the Homosassa River.

Tours
Tours are available for individuals and groups. We offer tours on the spring fed Homosassa and Halls River. We will customize a tour to meet your needs! Come to Florida's "Nature Coast" for a chance to see a bald eagle, cranes, blue herons, turtles, or maybe a playful otter. See our Kayak and Canoe Tours page for more tour details.

Sales
We provide the best in customer service and invite you to visit us at any time. We will enjoy placing your in a kayak for a wilderness adventure you will truly enjoy! We sell Kayaks by Wilderness Systems, Dagger, Perception, Ocean Kayaks, Necky and Old Town. We have Kayak accessories every paddler needs in our shop. We carry Aqua Bound and Carlisle paddles and we have water access right outside of our shop, so you can come anytime and try out the kayak and paddle of your choice. Try as many kayaks as you like to make sure you are happy with your kayak purchase. We offer gift certificates as well. See our Kayak and Canoe Sales page for everything the paddler needs.

Riversport Kayaks is located at 5297 S. Cherokee Way inside the Riverside Resort, one and a half hours north of the Tampa/St. Petersburg area directly on the Homosassa River. We are open Monday thru Saturday from 8:30 A.M. till 5 P.M. and Sundays 9:00 A.M. till 4:30 P.M. for your shopping and paddling convenience.
