Based 15 minutes from the beach in Gardena, California, Cobra Kayaks got its start in watersports long before its moniker included the word kayak. Founder Warren Aitken earned his roto-molding chops making boards for the windsurfing craze 35 years ago. When the fad died, he turned his plastics expertise over to kayaks and hasn’t looked back, producing the Cobra’s flagship fishing kayaks, the Fish ‘N Dive, back in the early ‘90s a dozen years before most of us had put the words fish and kayak in the same sentence.

The Escape is the perfect sit on top kayak to throw in the water at a moment’s notice for a paddle, a float, a quick fishing trip, or a sunset. Perfect for women, children, and average size men; the Escape measures a mere 10’ 5” in length, 31” wide, and weighs an unbelievably low 34 lbs; yet still has a 240lb capacity. 
We think that our Cobra Explorer is as close as you can get to the perfect all-purpose boat. Stable and fast with superb tracking, it is versatile for all sizes, shapes and varying expertise of the majority of paddlers.
Although shorter paddlers will be equally at home in the Cobra Navigator, at 12' 6", it’s longer length fills an important niche in Cobra’s line for taller paddlers. They will be more comfortable and have more fun fishing, diving and camping.
Lighter weight than other tandems on the market (only 57 lbs) the Cobra Tandem is easier to maneuver than the Cobra Triple. This model offers users the opportunity to socialize while paddling. The Cobra Tandem also is competitively priced and thus offers exceptional value.
The Cobra design team decided to combine a modified deck with the stable hull design of the Cobra Tandem and create the ultimate fishing/diving kayak appropriately enough called the Cobra Fish N’ Dive.
A perfect complement to the Cobra Explorer and Cobra Navigator, this model is true to its namesake. The Cobra Play is fun and easy to use for smaller, shorter paddlers and kids.
For long-reach fishing expeditions the Pro Fisherman is the ideal Kayak. More than a foot longer than the Fish n’ Dive, the Pro Fisherman has a narrower beam and is lightweight at 51 lbs (24kg). This means a fast manoeuvrable kayak able to handle more challenging sea conditions. Standard with covered side storage compartments, covered bait well, tank holder, front bungy. Easily equipped with an optional rudder system.
Designed as a performance sit-on-top touring kayak, the Cobra Tourer is slightly more forgiving than the Cobra Expedition. This boat is designed for the athletically inclined paddler who wants to go from Point A to Point B with maximum efficiency and speed. Its versatility makes it an ideal choice for training, long distance sight-seeing or touring on moderate ocean swells, lakes and rivers.
This is the first ever sit-on-top that is big, sturdy and stable enough to accommodate three adults paddling simultaneously as well as ample supplies of heavy diving and long range fishing gear. The Cobra Triple answers a request from coed Adventure Teams for a kayak that allows them to combine all their power into one boat. (Cobra Kayaks was invited to be the official supplier for the first ever Fogdog 24-Hour Adventure Race held in Southern, California). The versatility of the Cobra Triple is not lost on parents who want to share their paddling experience with their children. And there is even room for the family dog!
