With one month remaining until the 2009 Jacksonville Kayak Fishing Classic on May 2nd, over 230 anglers are registered for the event and tournament organizers are expecting 300 or more entrants in total. Now in its sixth year, the world's largest kayak fishing tournament has experienced terrific growth over the last several years, with nearly 350 entrants last year. Registrations for 2009 are so far ahead of last year's record-setting pace that the Classic has moved locations to Jacksonville’s Ramallah Club, a venue that is much better suited to hosting such a large group.
